Two enthusiasts Mr. John Gill and Gary Arold from Ulster County have made this amazing cannon that would be a gift for the Halloween eve. It is being claimed to be the world’s strongest and most powerful pumpkin cannon. The cannon is made up of a long metallic tube and air compressor.
Two big tanks with capacity of 1000 gallons have been used to build the cannon. Both the tanks use compressors to produce pressure to eject the pumpkins to reach a height of 3500 feet with a maximum speed of 600mph. The maximum reach of the cannon is about 1 mile before hitting the ground. Although, the giant cannon is very big and looks like a monster but it is pretty safe to operate.
It is not confirmed yet if they would be using this gun in the populated areas or not. But I am pretty sure thinking of flying pumpkins in the congested area is a fun. They would be smashing the objects around.
