Connected gadgets continue to grow: after bracelets and shoes, here comes the first fully connected ultralight bike! With it, you will never get lost during a walk in the woods or in the city. A beautiful innovation that we make you discover.
The bike is named as Valour and weighs less than 7 kg. Developed by Vanhawks this two-wheeled vehicle has all the benefits of a connected gadget and can guide you on beautiful long walks. Its light weight has been made possible thanks to its carbon fiber construction. Hence, it can be easily carried up several stairs.
Connected to your smartphone, it will communicate to you dozens of important real-time data parameters, including one of the most important sought by the hikers, that is, GPS co-ordinates. Valour is able to tell you the direction to the destination thanks to the diodes integrated in the handlebars. It also records the distance traveled, indicates the time to destination, average speed… And more!
As like some modern cars, Valour can also detect and warn you about any obstacles or blind spots using a sophisticated ultrasound system. For example, if you are considering a bend in the road when a car is about to overtake you, this bike will warn you of the danger via vibrations.
Vanhawks has already completed its required funding objective on the Kickstarter, but if you still want to participate in the project Valour, you still have a few days ;). The company has not yet revealed all the details of delivery of this highly innovative bike but we already know the price: 999 Canadian dollars, or about 666 euros.
