A South Korean firm, kt design has designed a special type of Umbrella with C-shaped handle that allows you to text while holding the Umbrella upright during rain. Named as the “Phone-brella” C-shaped handle props up against the arm while you can safely browse internet or text. Currently, it comes in five different color designs.
If you ever had the chance of being in rain while holding your Umbrella and you wanted to text, indeed it would have been difficult to compose the message without releasing hold of Umbrella. For all such situations kt, a South Korean company has designed ‘phone-brella’, thanks to its C-shaped handle you can easily place your wrist into the handle.
The upper part of the handle supports the Umbrella to remain upright while the lower half of the handle acts as a counter weight to keep the Umbrella stable. Now, your both hands are free and you can use easily use your smartphone for texting or using internet while Umbrella protects you from the torrents of the rain. According to Designboom, Kt wants to give ultimate mobility experience to its customers. This Umbrella was able to grab the famous Red Dot Design Award.

The Umbrella is available in five different types of colors: chic black, blossom red, classic grey, royal red and smoky grey.
