Nepalese Honey Hunter Risk Their Lives On High Cliffs To Feed Their Families

Andrew is an English photographer who wanted to capture the life of the “Honey Hunters” in Nepal. These hunters risk their lives to harvest honey from bee colonies on high cliffs. We share with you this series of photographs that will make you dizzy!

Twice a year, members of the tribe Gurung , in central Nepal, risking their lives to collect honey produced by Apis loboriosa, the largest bee in the world. These bees measure almost 3 inches and make their hives on the heights of the Himalayas. Photographer Andrew Newey  followed these men of the extreme courage who do not hesitate to climb to many meters above the ground just with rope ladders.
