This small cylindrical object will soon able you to send scents through your smartphone. Designed by the American scientist David Edwards and the Laboratory of Paris, the oPhone could be a new form of communication using scents.

The oPhone will especially seduce you with the ease of its use. To send your scented messages, you need simply to connect your oPhone with a smartphone and choose the recipient. Thanks to a smartphone app, you can select and configure the scents that you want to send.
The principle of this new device is easy to understand. It can be regarded as a printer that activates different scent cartridges, to combine them to make new scents. For example, the lovers may send their other half the delicate scent of aroma rose.
However, it may take a while before you can use oPhone as the product is still in development phase. Expected in 2014, the oPhone will eventually be accompanied with a catalog of nearly 10,000 scents!
