How to Map a Network Drive in Windows?

Mapping a network drive in windows is easy and simple. Here, two methods are mentioned following which you can easily map the network drive in windows 7, windows server 2008 or windows vista. The first method maps the network drive through windows explorer while the second method does it though cmd command.

Through Windows Explorer:

Go to windows Start menu.
Click on Computer
Tap the Map Network Drive
It will display the window of Map Network Drive. Here you have to specify the letter for the drive, browse the server share and check the box of Reconnect at Logon.
Tap the Finish button when you are done with settings.

Through CMD:

Go to Start menu.
Type cmd in the search box and press the Enter key to open the Command Prompt.
Give the following command and press Enter. In place of z, use your preferred drive letter.

net use z: /persistent:yes \servernameshare

Download Firefox 7.0 Alpha 1 (Nightly Build)

The first ‘nightly’ alpha build of Firefox 7.0 is now already available for download. It is regularly updated with new changes and updates as the Mozilla team works on it.

However, you will not be able to use your Firefox add0ns and extensions due to compatibility issues and you will have to hack your way through so that Firefox 7.0 doesn’t check for extension updates and disables them. We’ll do a step-by-step tutorial on that later on.

For now, head over to the Firefox Nightly builds website and download the latest Firefox 7.0a1.

Disable Addon Compatibility Check in Firefox 7.0a1 Nightly Build

Firefox 7.0 Alpha 1 (nightly build) is now available for download for Windows, Mac and Linux. You can download the latest build as the Mozilla team works on it and regularly updates the nightly build daily. Firefox 5.0 was also just released yesterday for download.
Those of you trying to use Firefox 7.0a1 will be facing an issue that none of your Firefox addons would be working in this browser due to compatibility issues and you will have to hack your way through so that Firefox 7.0 doesn’t check for extension updates and disables them.
How to Disable Addon Compatibility Check in Firefox 7.0a1 Nightly Build
Just follow the steps below to disable addon compatibly check in the latest Firefox 7.0:
Open a new tab.
Type about:config in the address bar.
Right click anywhere on the page and click on Boolean under New.
Enter this as the preference name: extensions.checkCompatibility.nightly
Click OK.
Choose false and then click OK again.
Restart your browser and all your add-ons should be runnable again.
That’s it! Your previous extensions and addons should now work perfectly fine in Firefox 7.0 Alpha 1, nightly build!

Palm Pre Review

Palm introduced the Pre, along with the new WebOS, back in January and much like every other tech enthusiast around the globe, we were simply blown away by the brilliant looks, functionality and features that the Pre had to offer.

It is therefore that we have been keeping a close-eye on anything Pre and even though it is not possible for us to write a hands-on review of this device, we are still managing to share everything that we know about the Pre and how it will or will not succeed in the mobile market as compared to the the highness of phones, the iPhone.

From much of what we have read and seen, the WebOS will be something really to look forward too. Its quite responsive and user-friendly as the iPhoneOS and yes, it does support multi-tasking.

Everything from multimedia, web browsing, photo viewing to contact synchronization seems pretty mature considering that its the first generation of the WebOS and we are sure, it will give a tough competition to the iPhone though the Pre might lag behind in popularity when it comes to availability of more apps but perhaps that gap will eventually be bridged as well.
