Along with the advertising agency CHE Proximity, Foxtel has launched a new advertising campaign for a T-shirt like no others: the Alert Shirt. This shirt has been specially designed for the upcoming Australian football season. It allows its wearer to have the same emotion as that of a player during a real football match. Leon Wilson, director of CHE Proximity, explains the importance of creation: “So far the fans of football have only been able to live and experience the game at an emotional level. Now, it will be also possible to physically feel all the sensations of their favorite player!” So the wearer will also be able to feel the heartbeat, impacts, anxiety or the fatigue of the player.
The Shirt Alert works via a mobile app that is available on iOS as well as Android. The app retrieves information wirelessly from the sensors that are built in the shirt of the player. The app then uses this information so that wearer of the alert shirt also gets the same feeling thanks to its built in electronics. For greater clarity, the team CHE Proximity has worked with several football players to improve this device.
